Having used Cutenews for many years I am unwilling to upgrade to the latest version because of the poor image upload script. It does not allow anything but images by default. It has no thumbnail previews. It does not have the ability to put images into directories. It cannot handle thumbnails in posts. To me this lets down what would otherwise be an excellent program. I hope the authors will update the script soon. I am sticking to 1.4.7 with the Advanced Image Module by FI-DD.
