Topic: Problem after the migration

Hello,

I migrated my cutenews 1.5.3 to cutenews 2.0
The problem I have is that the first page of news is good, but the next ones don't show the HTML codes correctly. Instead of showing a picture with
Here are screencaps attached of the first and second page.

Is there something I did wrong? Should I have to edit all past news??

Re: Problem after the migration

This is an on-going problem with ckeditor not cutenews. Ckeditor is not written by the cutnews coders. I have found that ckeditor 'corrects' your html for you even when you do not want it to. A visit to the ckeditor forum shows many posts complaining about this.
One suggestion posted there is :

The only way to preserve the HTML source without any change is to use a textarea, not a wysiwyg editor.

I am not sure what it means by this yet but will report back if it works.

Re: Problem after the migration

I've never used ckeditor to post my news. I'm always written the news myself integrating html code by my own.

Having the same problem here.

Go "Edit News"
>>> Mark the desired news entries >>> Choose action "Switch to HTML" from the Select-Dropdown-Box below >>> Click "Go" >>> Be happy
