Hi, how can i get a visit counter for my blog posts? There was a hack to get it--->here: http://cutephp.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=33202 But it's not longer working on 1.5 version since the file show.inc.php has changed. Does anybody have any ideas?

Thanks

Hi all. I was wondering if there is a way to have a image slider on the homepage of my website, wich automatically detects {title} and {avatar} from my posts. Is there any way to do it?

Thanks in advance

Hi all, my problem is this:

Whenever i write some letter with accent, cutenews show a square with a "?" inside, just like this "". For the past version of cutenews, i've solved including in the file "function.inc.php", this:

//----------------------------------
// Some Special Chars
//----------------------------------
$HTML_SPECIAL_CHARS = Array ( // Master array replaced ALWAYS !!!

'”' => '”',
'“' => '“',
'œ' => 'œ',
'™' => '™',
'’' => '’',
'‘' => '‘',
'‰' => '‰',
'…' => '…',
'€' => '€',
'¡' => '¡',
'¢' => '¢',
'£' => '£',
'¤' => '¤',
'¥' => '¥',
'¦' => '¦',
'§' => '§',
'¨' => '¨',
'©' => '©',
'ª' => 'ª',
'«' => '«',
'¬' => '¬',
'*' => '*',
'®' => '®',
'¯' => '¯',
'°' => '°',
'±' => '±',
'²' => '²',
'³' => '³',
'´' => '´',

'½' => '½',
'¾' => '¾',
'à' => 'à',
'è' => 'è',
'é' => 'é',
'ì' => 'ì',
'ò' => 'ò',
'ù' => 'ù',
'\'' => '´',
'•' => '•',
);

Hello everybody. Here is my problem:

I've been tring to import feeds from different websites in cutenews, and i used this hack. http://cutephp.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=34702

I't works quiet fine. But i still have a couple of problem that i would like to solve.

1. I have this message:
Warning: date() expects parameter 2 to be long, string given in /home/a2085238/public_html/cmscn/cutenews.1.4.7/inc/main.mdu on line 24

at the begining of the Home page and the editnews page.

Here a screen shot --->> http://i.imgur.com/KaSp4.jpg

2. It imports the news like this: On the short story 3 or 4 lines of text from the news imported. and on the full story, only the link to the website where the news is kept. What i would like is the full knows to show, before the link to the website where the news is kept, part of the text of the news as shown in the short news. Let's say 20% of the real article, and after that, the link to it.

I hope somebody can help me, since i'm not very confident in PHP.

Thanks
Danilo

Hello,

what i'm trying to do is to integrate this counter: http://cutephp.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=33202 on my cutenews.

I followed exactly what the post says, but for some reason it keeps giving me back a PHP error.

I wonder if i have to customize it with my path and i wonder how.

Hope (and i'm sure) somebody has an answer

Thanks!!
Danilo
