Can't log into cutenews.

Alright, so I installed cutenews and everything, and now I have a new username that I signed up with, with the same email address, I forgot myself, which was stupid on my behalf. but anyway Now I can't log in, everytime I go to the log in page, it's showing my previous username instead of my old one even if I use the new one, it just keeps saying my password is incorrect even if I type the correct one for each username. but when i go to forgot password it sends me the reset link for my new one, and for my old one it sais it's not registered or whatever.

Does anyone know how I can fix this?
