Topic: Trouble with charachter encoding updating from 1.4 to 2

Hi

I finally decided to migrate from an old version of 1.4 to 2. I have followed update guide step by step.

I am trying to migrate the news from the old CN to the new one from maintenance section. My news have all been in UTF-8 format but as you might know they are saved as Decimal NCRs (like &#15 75;). When I press the preview button CN converts them without any problem. But when I "Do convert", the actual news page shows the characters all messed up like this:

I am not sure what to do here. I tried to convert the news.txt file manually using online converters but they destroy necessary codes that CN needs to read along with other characters.

You need to download the latest version of CuteNews (2.0.3) from the website. The problem was solved in this release.
