One other thing. Is there a way to make the news links seo friendly? I have tried to pick yes in the Custom Rewrite dropdown, but it reverts to no when I click save.

Change the file core/core.php with the following one (if you don't use the latest build cutenews)

Just installed the beta version for testing and have found an error after installing...
Fatal error: func_get_arg(): Can't be used as a function parameter in /cutenews/core/core.php on line 262
