only on slower pc's. And if you're host gives you a low amount of bandwith, this might be a good thing to add to your cutenews.

check on your ftp account if there's a .htacces file inside the thumbs folder. if so delete it.

You don't have permission to access [url] on this server
that's because of the .htacces file. delete it from the folder. (note that the file is a hidden file, so make sure that hidden files are also shown in your ftp client.)

there are like 5 configuration variables. You can't have looked hard for them

will this cause problems for the existing hacks?
Like wouldn't it be to much of a change to the cutenews code so that we still can find the pieces of code that would need to be replaced.
Also can you give details about how the translation would go about.
Understand that i'm not intrested in like translating every single cutenews file.

you mean like the newsletter hack. You select news and mail them to your email database.

this might be usefull when looking for support.
An user which is standard include with cutenews. This user would be in a userlevel that can vieuw all pages of cutenews, but can't make any changes or can't post news. This would be handy for giving support.

FI-DD IS their a possibilty you could add a notification to this hack. I'm using you script to let people of my sport club upload their pictures to me trough my webspace. Email isn't that usefull because most of the time the send me pictures in high quality and is the mail to big to sent me.
So it would be usefull for me if i get a mail everytime the upload button is pushed saying which user uploaded the pictures and wihich pictures he uploaded, so i can give the athor of the pictures credits for them.

i doesn't work in IE, but it has an undo/redo option, and image insert optiion included.
