Topic: How to retrieve my old blog's posts

Hey everyone,

I had a blog back in 2007/2008 when I was on a high school exchange program. My account on the server was expiring, so I saved all directories from the FTP to a pendrive (this was in 2010). I just found the pendrive, and I can load the php, but not the cutenews admin platform and the posts. I tried opening the admin.php, but it says access denied. How do I retrieve the blog posts? Thanks in advance!

It seems that you are using an old version of Cutenews. If you have the data folder available, open it, you should find .txt files there. Try opening the  files in a simple text editor. This should solve your problem.
