Hey!
I can translate the script into hungarian, and I'm currently doing it with the last (1.4.5) version.
It's not easy, but the multilanguage support in the following versions was a very good idea.

I may also want a hungarian CuteNews community, such as this, because lots and lots of people use it, and they often have problems. I mean I may create a hungarian reference, forum and also the translation will be put up. Is there any shackle to do this?

I'd like to volunteer to translate CuteNews into Finnish.

i am making finnish-english translation. it is very easy to translate other languages.

you can use my cutenewsml! Translation help:

Step 1. download cutenewsml (http://koti.mbnet.fi/prosivut/cutenewsml/download.php)

Step 2. Unpack rar and go to lang folder.

Step 3. Make Copy of en.lang.php and rename it  cr.lang.php (or croatia.lang.php) and translate it!

Step 4. Go to cutenewsml otions and select system configurations and then edit cutenews language to cr (if you are named copy of en.lang.php to croatia.lang.php, set cutenews language croatia!)

NOTE!
Cutenewsml is ALPHA version! Check new version reguraly from About-menu

I will gladly translate it to Swedish! That is if this would be organised through some responsible person.

Does anyone know what happened to the translation group? And is there any detailed information
on what takes to translate everything? And how would future updates be translated, will there
be an languagepack in cutenews etc..?

there's no group. And to what do you refer? Flexers post, or on CN ML that has been posted somewhere in this topic?
Though i believe there's a website for CN ML where you can upload translations.
