Topic: News Won't Show Up on Page
The 'content by cutenews' shows up but the news isn't showing. Anyone know why?

Have you got a news.txt file in your cdata directory?

Open it with a text editor and check what is in it.

It has some numbers then a | then author, then | then the first post then the next line is the same but with another post and different numbers, etc.

Did you write something in Options > Word Replacement?

I just re-downloaded and uploaded it. Now I don't have anything in my cdata folder when I unzip, and its saying it can't find archives in cdata folder. I can't even get to the index.php to install... when I try it says this "[an error occurred while processing this directive] "

The causes could be anywhere... Do you know if you have an IIS (Windows) server, or is it Unix-based?
If you'd like, I can try and install CuteNews for you, but that would require FTP access (to the CuteNews folder). Of course, it's up to you whether you're comfortable with that or not.
