News Not Posting Or Allowing Editing

I've searched for this but can't find an answer so hoping someone can help!

I installed Cutenews on my site yesterday & made one post which worked. But now I can't either edit that post or make a new one.
Everytime I edit it, it says the changes were saved, but then they don't show either on the site or in cutenews itself.
When I make a new post and hit 'Add News' it says "The selected news item cannot be found ".

I'm at a complete loss as to why I can't do anything.
Any help would be much appreciated!
