How is it possible to obtain new password to my Website built on Cute News ?

All passwords on my password list on my iMac does not work.
I this question of upgrading?

Your password can be restored if it's saved on the FTP server and you have access to it. To see or edit your password, you need to go to the Data folder > Users.

I have access to all files in the serverer that host my domain MEDIAHUSETH.NO
The folder "users" do not exist. Looked at many files with names that could indicate password information.
No luck.
Tried to change text file that contain text that appear on website. After "save" and "upload" the change is not reflected on my website. Nothing happen, My domain and web hotel provider confirm that this should work. I seems that the file structure is "locked" for change ??
