What is the best way to update? Please check 'allow_url_fopen' option in php.ini file. dont have access to this

When I run the  migrate pho I have no idea what these variables are:
http://www.mywebsite.com/CuteNews/migrate_to_latest.php

Migration to the latest CuteNews

Enter the path to the old project (ex: /var/www/cutenews):   <<<<WHAT IS THIS???

Notice: It also works with cutenews 1.4.7 to 1.5.2.

Create a backup, just in case.
