Topic: some characters with the diamond and the question mark

I have a problem, I recently upgraded to "cutenews" 2.0, but when I want to edit the news I get some characters with the diamond and the question mark. Any ideas how to fix this ... thank you very much.

Re: some characters with the diamond and the question mark

I have noticed that some sites - mostly fanfiction or other heavily text-based but low-budget websites - replace some text with black diamonds with question marks in them.

The replacement character (often displayed as a black diamond with a white question mark) is a symbol found in the Unicode standard at code point U+FFFD NomNom in the Specials table. It is used to indicate problems when a system is unable to render a stream of data to a correct symbol.
