IT TOTALLY SUCKS!
I don't understand why it has been created to be a dead application.
Full story doesn't work. The title gives link to the category even if the news doesn't have a category.
Categories are not linked...they have parent categories but u can't use the "Memo" function to create links...it still uses category id in the link and links are terribly long!!!
It could have been way better then WordPress but u guys decided to keep it a bad application.
I'm sorry but I give it 0 stars!
Hey guys is it possible to show a full story in a div like a slimbox or fancybox thing instead of a pop up?

I was thinking to have a new template but I was wondering:
is it possible to attach an image and show it in a part of the template and not in the short/full story?
Like with a kind of {attached-image} obviously the attached image will be different to each article.

I'm running an old version of cutenews because the new one sucks and I'm not free with creating the article template's.
I know it's old but what happened with these hacks? They're now plugins?

Hey guys cutenews has been updated and most part of the hacks and tricks (if not all of them) aren't working anymore.
The staff, for some reason prefered integrate Facebook and other stupid options that aren't really giving freedom to people who work on the layout/structure of the articles.
They also haven't worked on something to have shorter links on full-story but that is another story.
I think these are the touches that CuteNews needed to be competitive with other platforms...how can we guys integrate these with the new CuteNews 1.5?

I mean, I can't believe CuteNews is remaining as stuck as when it was born and other platform always try to get better and give freedom of creations to people who work with them.
Yeah ahaahah XD but the answer to my problem would be better than that suggestion XD
It sucks. There are so many hacks and tricks that everything is still the same. Why havent you put the chance to translate days and months, why havent you put the template date (weekday, months, year, day) available instead of being stuck with the traditional date template you give. Why theres no chance to have linked categories? Cutenews its amazing but it lose the competition with wordpress and others because people are stuck with the options you give and after all the people here worked to create hacks and stuff, what do u do? U change most part of the platform!!! Congratulations!!
hey guys I have UTF-.8 and my problem is that when I post a comment it brings me to the homepage not in the fullstory to the comment I've published.
How can I fix this?
Hi guys I wanted to add a searchbox on my home page but when I make the search I get the results above the article.
I'd like to see just the result in the same place as the articles but without showing them.
How can I fix this?

Also when someone comments the comment get posted but people got redirected to the main page and not to the fullstory.
