Try to edit the template directly. Get in cdata/<your template file>.tpl and delete all screening symbols (reverse slashes). Check the result on the site.

Update ./core/core.php with the file git https://raw.github.com/CuteNews/cute-news-r...s/core/core.php.
Then in the folder cdata/plugins/ create the file usersonline.php - it will be a plug-in for user counting.

We've just updated GIT  https://github.com/CuteNews/cute-news-repo/...e28029d02d25e9e, and the material doesn't reset with empty field, and obligatory fields have become non-obligatory.
There are some pieces of advice to solve the problem:
1. Check the rights on the file  ./cdata/cache/conf.php and install it in 666 if there are no changes after saving.
2. Try to unlock magic_quotes_gpc with the help of htaccess http://support.aiso.net/index.php?_m=knowl...kbarticleid=211. But probably it's not a good idea now - we added into the commit unlocking of the quotes by php.

Please point out if there was a migration of news and archives from 1.4.7 to 1.5.0 and if it will be available from 1.4.7 now?
Describe the steps when this bug is reproduced at 1.5.0 and the steps at 1.4.7.

Try to download new archive and install it.

The files of the templates are at  Options > Edit Templates. You need to enter the necessary template (Active News or Full story) into the line.

We'll take into account your comments. We'll make all necessary changes in the new version of CuteNews, those bugs in the stable version will be removed. Now we're working at correct migration from 1.4x to 1.5 versions.

The date cam be formatted in the following way:
Enter into the template {month|January,February,March,April,May,June,July,August,September,October,Novem
ber,December}
And substitute months' names for the necessary ones.

In the file inc/install.php add after the line
extract( filter_request('site,email,user,password,retype,email,nick'), EXTR_OVERWRITE);^
this one:
$password = $_POST['password'];

It's a bug and will be corrected in the stable version of CuteNews.

Download zip again and reinstall but before it check the right of access on the folder cdata and uploads - there should be 777. The previous code of the cutenews 1.5 should be cleaned.
